Once the dream of many a homesteader, this unique 160 acre-property was initially home to Pompey Pedrini, who was granted homestead rights by President William McKinely in 1862. Although Pompey was not interested in today’s wedding or tourist industry he fancied mining and lumber. Homeowners thereafter searched for retreat and serenity as Dr. Deepak Chopra found investment in this beautiful land and lodge tucked away from crowds, noise and light pollution!
The sound of silence is deafening! Historically, present day, this land remains a homestead. Mountain Magic respects and appreciates this rich heritage and offers you The Lodge at Mountain Magic to have and to hold your Wedding celebration or retreat and escape from modern day!
Located 8 miles above Sierra Valley in the middle of Plumas National Forest
Our Majestic Mountain Wedding and Event property in the lost Sierras. Offering a scenic secluded setting with one of a kind amenities for family and friends.
Located on the northern rim of the Sierra Valley with outdoor ammenities in all directions, The lodge is well situated with our neighboring towns of Graeagle- Blairsden and full service resorts like Grizzly ranch and Whitehawk. On site RV and tent camping, and neighboring Historic Crocker guard station for accommodations.

Wedding Day Use
Access all 160 acres for photo opportunities through-out, we are happy to take you on trip in an open air 4WD Jeep or side by side to scenic points of your choice! Inclusive of Bridal Quarters, Ceremony site and arbor next to the lower pond, reception site, cocktail hour next to the meditation pool near a patio setting, caterer location, DJ or band spot and plenty of parking.
The Lodge
We open our lodge to you Friday until Sunday!
Take a hike throughout our 160 acre wood, map supplied upon request. Then soak your feet in the meditation pool, full of artesian well water!
Relax in the Great Room.
We welcome you into our gourmet kitchen, breakfast nook, saddle up to the bar, dine with your family and friends (seating for 8-10)
And, lastly succumb to one of our rooms: The Studio, High Rock Canyon or Lichen Rooms, a sleeper couch, maybe?, OR
The Hut, a one room cabin at the top of the mountain where you’ll lull to sleep under a starry sky! Room for two!
